Nothing says "I Love You, Dear" like screaming lower back pain!

Sometimes Wrong but rarely in doubt!

Books to Date

A friend of mine from my university days threw down the gauntlet.  Read one book a week for the entire year.  I figure I need to beef up my count at the front end to make up for a generally busier summer that has less free time to read.   So far this year I've read:

Tinker, Wolf Who Rules and Elfhome by Wen Spencer
The Weapon By Mad Mike Williamson
Dog and Dragon by Dave Freer

The Princess Bride by William Goldman

I've also started:

Recollections of the Red River Expedition Wm. Hubbard (not really a full book)
Forty Years in Canada: Reminiscences of the Great North-West, with Some Account of His Service in South Africa Sir Samuel Benfield Steele

I sent my list to my friend this morning, I feel cheated.  He's already given up.

On an semi-related note, I was surprised at how much of the book made it into the movie version of The Princess Bride.  Inigo was a much more sympathetic character in the movie though.
